​​​Bitch & Boast is a monthly meet-up for women running small businesses to… you guessed it… have a bitch and a boast.

​Because let’s be honest — running a small business is HARD!

​

You’re probably juggling the house, the food shop, caring for family (young or elderly), being the accountant, the marketing assistant… sorry, the marketing expert, the admin department, HR, the boss — and then throw hormones or menopause into the mix and suddenly it can feel like a full-blown small-business shit-storm.

​

We need more than ever to lift each other up.
We need visibility.
We need encouragement.
And quite frankly, we’re tired of making the rich richer (yes… cough… Meta).

 

So we do something different.

Because the only thing more powerful than one woman…
Is a room full of women!

​

There are no polite promises to “follow later” or vague intentions to stay in touch.
We support each other right there in the room, in real time.

• Phones come out.

• Posts get shared.

• Stories get reposted.

• Comments and likes start flowing.

You can literally watch your visibility grow as it happens.

 

Together, we are smashing the algorithm without paying for followers or bots.
Just genuine support and collective action.

 

HOW IT WORKS

• Each woman has around 3–4 minutes to introduce herself, share about her business (or idea) and show the post she would love the room to like, share or repost.

• We then move on to the next woman — all equal, all encouraged, all celebrated.

• This keeps the energy high and ensures everyone has the same opportunity to be seen and supported.

If you feel a connection or want to explore a collaboration, you can follow up afterwards once everyone has had their moment. This helps keep the flow positive, focused and fair.

BEFORE ATTENDING

We recommend preparing or creating a post you would like the group to focus on. This might be something you are promoting that month, a new offer, an event, or simply an “about me” post so others understand what you do.

There is a small contribution of £5 per gathering (unless otherwise stated).

Spaces can be booked in advance via the website to secure your place, or paid in person on the day by cash or bank transfer.
